The Humble Beginnings

The humble beginnings of Homeworld Construction Corporation can be traced back to January 29, 1992, when Homeworld Engineering, a general contractor registered with the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB), with a Category B License No. 14725 issued by the Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines (CIAP) of the Department of Trade and Industry was founded.

In the course of trying to make a name for itself in the construction industry Homeworld Engineering needed fresh capital to expand its construction operations and brand marketability. Around that time, GC & C Inc., a leading aggregate supplier in Negros Occidental, was looking to venture outside its traditional market to create demand for the expanding operation of its crusher and aggregate businesses.

On May 3, 2005 GC & C Inc. officially acquired Homeworld Engineering for its technical expertise and experience together with its glowing reputation and renamed it Homeworld Construction Corporation. With fresh capitalization, it acquired modern equipment to expand its brand mileage. It constructed batch-type asphalt batching plants, wet mix concrete batching plants and invested on various heavy equipment to bring into fruition its aspiration for business expansion.

Today, Homeworld Construction Corporation takes great pride in having been issued a Triple-A license by PCAB and ISO Certification 9001:2015. Initially, the Concrete Ready-mix division was only supplying the company’s projects. However, due to its growing popularity and demand from the public to also supply their concrete ready mix needs, the company decided to venture into the commercial supply business, rebranding it Supermix.
